Points are what make an RSVP mean something. A seat at a Vemble costs one, and the ways to earn them are all things that make the community better: turning up, hosting, and bringing good people in. They can’t be bought, and they aren’t money.

Hosting your own Vemble costs nothing, and being on a waitlist costs nothing — you’re only charged if a seat opens up and you take it.
Getting your ticket back
- Cancel while there are still 72 hours to go — full refund.
- Changed your mind right after joining? You have 60 minutes, whenever the Vemble is.
- Cancel inside 72 hours, more than an hour after joining — no refund. That seat is the hardest one to fill.
- If the host cancels, the Vemble doesn’t reach its minimum, or we cancel it — you get your tickets back in full, every time.
When tickets are taken
- Not turning up to a Vemble you joined costs 2 tickets, on top of the ticket you already spent. Someone kept a seat for you.
- If your host marks you absent by mistake and corrects it, the tickets come straight back.
- Cancelling a Vemble you’re hosting costs 2 tickets once people have signed up.
- It’s free if nobody has signed up yet, or if you cancel within 60 minutes of creating it — a mistyped Vemble should be cheap to take down.
Expiry
Points last 12 months from the day you earn them, and the oldest ones are always spent first. We’ll warn you 30 days and 7 days before any expire.
The small print
Points can’t be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, and they have no cash value. Only you and the Vemble team can see your balance.
